Congratulations on your successful hatch and best wishes with your next incubation! Do you have a plan for the cockerels? I would try to get those chicks integrated with your older hen a soon as possible so she's not overwhelmed later on when they get bigger. I was down to a single hen last year when I added new chicks. They were fully integrated by 4-5 weeks old... less stressful for everyone. She's still the odd one out occasionally, but everyone gets along great.

Thank you so much! That will help a lot. I didn’t know when we could do it. I had read they need to be in the brooder 6 weeks somewhere so i guess i need to read up more on here!

And if we have roosters we have to give them away or sell them. We are not allowed to have roosters in my town unfortunately :(

Mine were 4-5 weeks and feathered out and went into the coop with no heat at night as long as 60-70s. Did well. They will huddle together for heat. If temps lower 6-8 weeks is fine.
