Yes, it is. I fasten it with safety ties around the clamp. The tripod lets me move the heat closer or farther away.
 
WELL done. Got to love it. LOL

I used a 2x4 with duct tape. I used a piece on the bottom then added the large piece to make it stand up so it didn't fall over and hurt my babies. Hammered them together. Then place my heat lamp on a adjustable light bracket you use for reptiles on their cages. They have a glue backing but it wouldn't stick to the plastic container I used for the brooder. So since duct tape is good for everything I just used that. LOL

WE all come up with something to make it work. Its great to see everyones brooders and chicks and see the idea's behind it to make it work for them.
