My name is Emma.. I plan on building a small coop as soon as possible, and I have a young chicken that I own named eagle. I have so much to learn aboou coops, chicken food, and overall chicken care. I can't wait to start on my chicken coop!!!!

:welcome It's great that you're getting into chickens now, all the more time to enjoy them! :) God luck with making your coop, there's a few pictures of some that are really nice. :)

You may find the Learning Center, a great place to start - then follow up with sections on coop/runs etc. If you plan on having a small flock you might consider building a
tractor" as they call it. It is a small coop /run all in one with wheels, so you can move around once the chickens decimate the grass in the area.

Emma, when I was 11, I was determined to breed and show Cocker spaniels and eventually prevailed tho my parents were against it every step of the way. So I know you can succeed.
