Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am the happy keeper of some barred rocks, buff rocks, gold laces and white wyndottes (sp) all about to be a year old 8 total

How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I have read posts for a while, never had a reason to comment until now. I'll make a post on a chicken I've been nursing back to health in another thread.

What are some of your other hobbies? I raise Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk and show My name is Caryn, our farm goals include self sufficiency. We do farming along with dairy and eggs for our family and friends. Happy to be a new member.

Posting a few of my chicks on their daytime roost... Chicks L to R; Baby, McNasty Chicken (or Chicken McNasty) and Omelet. The others are camera shy I guess.

LulaBelle the goat was pregnant as a house (kidded 6 days after this pic) and loved for the chicks to take their afternoon naps on her back.
Only down side, they pooped all over her :/
