Thanks! We've done chickens now for almost four years and I just discovered this site. So I decided to join. My husband and I have one daughter and 44 chickens, and 3 ducks. All but one chicken is a layer but we have done meat chickens in the past. I don't know where to find information about selling my eggs more formally, I guess. I sell them to neighbors and coworkers but have lots of eggs here and no place to go with them. Do you have any suggestions? Where on the site is this information or where can I go to find the laws in Wisconsin?

So, I think I ought to introduce myself. My name is Janet. With my husband Michael and daughter Caitlyn (15 years old) we take care of 44 chickens, 3 ducks, 2 horses, 10 rabbits, one dog, and two cats. In the summer my daughter's two terrapins and one tarantula ("Fang", and she's an elderly arachnid) come home from school. We have great fun learning and doing poultry. Our chickens include Auracanas, Buff Orps, Black Australorps, Turkens and Silver Wyandottes. Love the large breeds! My ducks are runners.
