Hello,
I am new to byc and hope to get a few ducks or chickens this summer. Where do I find town rules about poultry as pets .My neighbor had an established coop of chickens and when I asked him he was not sure. I have looked high and low to find my towns rule on pet ducks and chickens but I can't find the information anywhere. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I could find the rules for keeping either chickens or ducks in Dedham MA. I don't want a huge coop just a few birds either all chickens or all ducks to start. Thanks in advance .

I would check with city hall or your local police department or Sheriff's office on a local # none 911 and they will help you on local zoning laws .......

I would try calling your animal control officer. I called mine in Billerica and they pointed me in the right direction!
