Hi everyone! We just started our flock (a little bit early because I couldn't resist the ducklings at tsc). We have 11 chicks coming from Murray's the 2nd week of may and we have 5 ducklings at home. Started with 2 rouens and 1 pekin and then added 2 khaki campbells today when I went to just get some bedding lol. This is my family's first time raising poultry. I raised broilers for ffa in high school but that was as a group. We are excited to start this adventure and I have already learned so much from reading everyone's post while doing my research! We are hoping my son will be able to show one of our ducks this year or next in his 4h group. He is 7 and it is his 1st year and we have a 1 year old daughter who is beyond in love with the ducks and chicks she sees.
