Hoarding chickens (or any animal) is not cute or funny. Animals deserve to have their needs met. I would rather chop my bully's head off than give her to someone like you.

Agreed. It's the stupid humidity bump, so 90 degrees (which is hot, but manageable) becomes 96-98. The air becomes so oppressive.

Oh I do, I just generally phrase it more like:
"Hi,
This thread hasn't been active since 2015, and the OP hasn't been on BYC since 2016, so you will probably have the most luck starting your own thread "

That's kind. Newbies often don't check the posting date, and don't know how to check when the OP was last seen. I know I made both mistakes often when I first joined.
