Hi to all
I have had chickens for a while now.And i always like to keep ducks as well.I have a horse 3 dogs 2 cats and 1 rabbit.Along with 1 son and 1 husband.Sometimes they are both more work than all the rest.
I like keeping chickens for the eggs, but rhode island reds are my favorite. They all seem to have personality.Of my last flock i had 1 that lived until she was 12 or so.She was so old she started laying eggs without shells.I let her stay with my goats i had at the time so the other birds wouldn't bother her anymore. She lived a full happy life and would sit on my lap and watch the sun go down. Her name was red bird(i know not very original)
Nice to meet you all, have to go post in the emergancy question spot about a broken wing
