I hope you find all the info you need on this site, there are tons of great people here who are full of helpful information! I'm new too. I was getting so excited checking out the new winners of the chicken coop contest on the Home page. Lots of great ideas and designs are in there.
Especially since in MI we've got foxes, raccoons and other predators, its super important that you think about ways to keep beautiful wildlife from taking out your new pets. The chicken coop design winners have some great ideas in there, even some of them have heating ideas for the winter months, or if you decide on keeping less hardy birds.
