Hello...I'm from Mississippi. Just recently got back into raising a few chickens...much to the disgust of Hubby...lol.... I have 15 hens and One Rooster. I have an assortment of Buff Orpington, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and Barred Rock. The Hens are almost 5 months old and have not started laying eggs yet but should pretty soon. They free range in the yard during the day and go back in the Pen at night.We live way out in the country so no neighbors to complain.

We live in Colorado now but my daughter was born in Meridian!
