I love having tiny little fluffy chicks, and I love it more when they finally get big enough to go outside
What breeds did you get?

I purchased 15 Buff Orpingtons, 6 RIR and 11 Easter Eggers. The Orpingtons are all hend. I would have loved a roo but, they didn't have any. The RIR were straight runs so I could possibly get a roo and it looks like I have 3 rooms for sure. The EE's I'm not sure about, I think there may be 2 or 3 rooms in that group as well. I will be watching them all to see which roo's are going to stay and which might be removed.
We have a large coop with the capability of going larger yet. It was a shop building for our property. We have one section completely renovated and will do the other section later. I plan on a large run (we will mark it out today) with room to expand. Because of multiple predation possibilities, they must stay in the run unless we are present. I plan on getting some electric poultry fencing so they have the opportunity to, sort of, free range while I am present.
