Hi BYC people!
I have been reading posts for a while, but finally decided to get involved!
We just ordered are first poultry ever, four runner ducklings from metzer farms! They are supposed to be here on the 28th! I'm so excited!
We currently have five dogs (a sheltie, dachshund, bernese mountain dog, border collie/aussie mix and a papillon mix), four hamsters (roborovskis) and two hedgehogs. We are also going to be fostering a pregnant cat for our local shelter soon...
Our ducks will be mostly pets. I may try herding with my border collie/aussie mix, Kaleb. If that works out, we could also use the ducks for training. We'll see how it goes.
