Hi there! We just aquired our first baby chicks this week after our last ancient chicken crossed the rainbow bridge 
After much research we are very excited to be the new parents of 4 SF hens, 1 SF Roo and Lola the blue splash Silkie who somehow followed me home....
Here at the local zoo we also have; 5 horses, 5 dogs, 6 lovebirds, 3 blue crown conures, 2 green cheek conures, and one little parakeet, 3 cats, 2 terrapins and two human children (which are the noisiest, most unruly and most expensive to feed)...
I look forward to learning tons from you guys about taking care of my new fids!
