Hi from north of Adelaide, South Australia.

Hi all, I'm Yuki from a small town North of Adelaide South Australia, that my Mother has named Cackleberry Mews. (I am hoping that she will be joining too soon)

I am new to living with chickens, and have a pretty large and diverse flock living with me. I mainly joined up to learn more about them and share the nonsense that they tend to get up to. Personally I have 3 pekins that hang out with me in my office, and some D'uccle roosters that keep me on my toes out in the back yard. There are many more chickens around the place, and Mum shows them on the weekends.

Hi Yuki!

I'm in Adelaide too :D nice to meet you. Compared to everyone else I've met on BYC, we're neighbours and that is a very happy thought. I have four hens in a suburban backyard near the port. Where are you, Barossa, the plains, Flinders, or way up north?

If you'd like to join in, you're very welcome to take a look at a thread I started to talk about chicken stuff. Some of my BYC besties join in there every day for a chat.

What sort of chooks do you keep? Pekins and d'uccles are very cute. What colours are they? Are your mum's chooks ever in the royal? I might've seen some of them. I love looking at the chooks at the show. I've been missing it with the pandemic.

PS sorry if you're feeling bombarded by all my questions :)
