Not yet.Do you think they will all be ok left in the coop together at night since they don't pick on the silkies during the day so far?
coop is just 4x5ft, with 4nesting boxes and roosting bar and pine shavings on the floor of it.Not yet.
How large is your coop?
I have decided not to integrate them at night in the coop yet. I think the 2 young silkies need to get accustomed to being out there in the coop themselves first and maybe get a little older. They have been raised inside by themselves thus far until last night. They slept out in the new coop last night and I watched them just stay huddled together by the door the entire night. Think Ill wait ill they are all used to each other more before putting the bigger Goldens with them at night.HowdyWelcome to Backyard Chickens.
Enjoy your time here!
Good luck with the intergration.
Thank you!Best of luck with your silkies, and welcome to BYC.
