Hi, from North Texas!

I'm Holly. I live in north Texas in the Texoma area.
I have 4 chickens now, and I first started into chickens around March 2019. I have:

* Penny, supposed to be a Black Copper Maran, but I think she's actually a Cuckoo Maran

* Barbara, a Barred Rock hen

* Suzy, a Speckled Sussex hen (my snugglebug!)

* Amy/Amir, an Ameracauna that looks like a hen but crows (not sure yet)

Before chickens, I raised Coturnix quail. I also love gardening. I have 4 boys (still at home) and 1 daughter (all grown up), and 1 grandson.

I've been following and browsing BYC for years! But just finally decided to jump in!

WELCOME. Your Americana (Easter Egger) Looks like my girl Ruby . she lays beautiful green eggs. And your cuckoo maran looks like one I had (predator) beautiful chocolate eggs!
