Staying inside baking sounds much better than having to get out in that weather DMC...stay cozy and safe!

My only plan is to eat chili and watch a golf tournament. :)
I just took care of the animals, and I’m not going back out until it’s all over. I just looked at our forecast again. They are now saying 12-18”. Yuck!
We had chili last night. Do you have a recipe you go by or just dump? I had a friend bring me a bowl of hers the other day. She used Great Value breakfast sausage in hers. I liked it.

Yuck is right, that's too much snow!

I have a recipe I've used for a long time. A couple of things I do is to include a bag of frozen bell peppers & onions and a can of Rotel. Otherwise, it's the standard ground beef, tomato paste, beef broth and seasonings. Never thought to try breakfast sausage in chili, that probably is good!
 
The golf tournament is a bust. There's some sort of money dispute between the cable company and the broadcasting company (I think that's who is fighting) so they won't be airing the tournament. What a bummer, DH and I really enjoy watching the games together :hit

I use homemade tomato juice that has green pepper, onion, garlic and Italian season in it. Hubby doesn’t like chunks of tomato. Do you use beans? I use kidney and chili. I use a bag of chili seasoning. It’s really hot so I strain the pepper seeds out. I ran out and can’t remember the brand. It comes from Texas.

I use combo of red beans and black beans...DH can't tolerate kidney beans.

My seasonings are: chili powder, oregano, granulated garlic, cilantro, a Mexican seasoning I get from Spices, Inc called Manzanillo, and salt.

I don't make chili really hot, just real spicy :D
