I have far North east laying breeds but only 10 days old I have nh reds, comets, americaunas, black astraulorps and one I dunno what 1 is it was given to me same day as others cuz one chick died two hrs after getting home so then there came hammer that's it's name it's older a but by a few days lol but I'm ready to go insane I also have two wk old cancel ducks and its forty degrees so guess what??? They are all in my living room thank God we are crafty but omg they have lotsa feathers but lotsa fuzz but tubes just coming in some on necks but how long am I gonna sound like the freaking funny farm (oops already did sound like that lol) but seriously these things are like raptors... my bf feeding them grubs n worms n they are huge I think for their age and no warm nights in sight looks like I'll be moving into my camper lol

You don't have to keep them in the house because it's cold outside. If you use a brooder plate with a towel over it, they can be outside from day one. Mine have been. They were ripping around their brooder have a grand time on a 28F morning. They are all growing like weeds.
