Hi! We are located in Northern Indiana too. Lagrange county. We have 2 chickens currently but ready and excited to add some more family members this spring. Ours are just the TSC special. Black sex-linked. Day old when we got them. Now they are almost a year. My husband just built an indoor coop inside our pole barn that will have an exit to the outside yard for them to roam as they please.
