Hi! I've been reading this great forum for weeks now - we just got our first chicks and are having a ball! We have 2 ameraucanas, 2 SLW and 2 Welsummers that are between 3-5 weeks old. I can't believe how fast they grow! They have tons of feathers already and every other day I'm afraid they're all roosters (we promised our neighbors we wouldn't keep a rooster - legally we could but they are nice neighbors so if it keeps them happy...). Hopefully they are nice healthy pullets
They look good and happy and enjoy going outside to play in the grass. I live on the edge of the suburbs with my wonderful hubby, our dog (cavalier king charles, wants to momma the chicks) and are down to just one kitty for now (who is completely uninterested in the chicks)
