Just wanted to say "Hi!" I'm new here and, while I grew up with chickens, haven't had any in a long time.

The town I live in just (and I mean just) passed a law that we can FINALLY have backyard chickens so I got my coop and my girls! (no roosters allowed)

I have 3 Gold Sex Links and am eyeing maybe buying a Black Copper Maran pullet but I have to convince my husband

. I'll just tell him the eggs are chocolate

.

My girls are only a touch over 4 weeks old now so they're going through this awkward 'tween phase and look pretty funny - I still need to think of names.

So, "Hi!" from Oregon!!!
