Hi and welcome to BYC! This is the best place to learn and share. Be patient with your wee ones. My first flock I brooded last Spring did not get all that much attention since I was still working full time and had a horribly long commute. They turned out alright except one of the hens thinks I'm a food group - she pecks at me every time I enter the coop. I'm brooding 3 BR's right now and they get more attention. They do seem a bit calmer. Try pulling up a short stool and just sit with them awhile. Good luck!
