Hi from Pet-Kat Acres in Kentucky

We are fairly new to this Fowl world and finding it rather entertaining. We are Pete and Katie Miller and we have 3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats and now 4 (started with 7 Fox got 3 of our ladies) 3 Hens and a Roo We also made the mistake of buying a prefab Coop and are now correcting that error with a Shed to Coop conversion .

Ohhh! Can't wait to see the transformation! On the coop forum page there are tons of ideas...the honey do list for the coop is nice and long at my house! Happy to have you, and really glad you joined!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Your other coop would be great used for quarantine area for new birds, or brood hen,or grow out coop for young birds etc.

It would be a great idea to check out the predator threads to get advice on keeping them away from your birds.
