Hi y’all, I’m David, living in SE Portland, OR. Long time reader, and joining up now to seek some help for a chicken with a not normal crop. But that’s another post. 
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes — we (me, my partner, and our 6yo son) got four chicks in May 2020
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Three chickens — one of the four was a rooster, strangely enough it was the Cinnamon Queen. We kept him until we couldn’t anymore. The three hens are a Jersey Giant, a dark Brahma, and a black copper maran.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their personalities and watching the flock drama evolve!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Rock collecting and lapidary arts, 3D printing, and violin making.
