Hi all,
I am planning a backyard flock for this year. I would like to buy locally vs a hatchery, but I'm having some trouble finding local resources. My Agway sells chicks, but a limited selection. And I can't type Rhode Island into any searches, because I get a flood of RIR info.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of a local farm where I can buy chicks I would love any info you have.
I'm a married mom of four, my poor husband got on board after reading "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle." The kids are excited, and the dogs/cats/fish have no idea what's coming!
