, thank you for your nice words. we are in the process of buying a house here in the village and this is gonna take some time to finish the papers (things are a little bit different than you are used to). but we will move in at the beginning of april and i just wait to get my babies: chickens, turkeys (not as many as last year tho), ducks (we love them more than any other birds), geese and guineas (it will be the first time i grow them). i'll be here with pictures. for the last 25 years i lived into a town and now i came back in the village and i'm very excited about having a vegetable garden and birds. people here are not so excited anymore as they did this for all their live, so i look a little bit weird to them. you know, "what it is to be excited for"? so, i feel very "at home" talking to you and i just wait to share my excitement with you.

call your DM and ask: mama, ce faci? (read "ce" like in "chest" and "ci" like in "chicago" and the "a" from "mama" and "faci" like "a" from Chicago". "faci" is a single syllable word). the question means "mom, how are you?"
Jenny din ce parte a tarii esti? In ce sat te muti?
you made a good choice. I have relatives living there, and I use to go few miles from Sibiu to Cacova, a small mountain village, every summer as a child. I remember the stream that was literary going next to my bedroom window (inches from the house) I could hear it even with the window closed. No appliances, no running water, just a wood burning stove, and lot of fun for a child. What a time ...
Talking about rustic beauty...
I wanted to do my coop like this, but that roof looks to complicated.
