Hi from Russia

We did visit some of the big cities on our trip but also many villages, remote monasteries and orphanages out in the country.
The people were always very kind and very helpful even though we knew only a few Russian words. The food in the villages was delicious and reminded me of the meals my grandmother used to make. I was not a gardener then or I would have brought back many seeds, there were so many interesting varieties of vegetables.

Welcome from deep farm country in the midwest U.S. -- Iowa.
I really enjoyed viewing your birds. You have beautiful ducks.
Thanks for joining BYC and bringing the big wide world down to just a group of friends on the Internet.
