My son is the one with the chickens and wants to hatch chicks to try to sell. Mainly for something to do. Has 10 bantams, some RIR's, leghorns, and one buttercup. Also 5 muscovy ducks. But thinks he needs more. Just hatched his first 10 chicks. Wants to find some different breeds.

I started out hatching just a few and then my 'bator ran for 5 months straight last year. LOL I've already had 2 hatches this year. I have 2 Buttercup hens (The roo passed over the winter

) but will be getting a new roo in two weeks. I also have Golden Laced Bantam Cochins, BB red Game bantams, BO, a RIR, A barred rock, some mutts, guineas, a turkey, call ducks, Muscovy ducks, a Cayaga, a mutt duck, and a runner duck. I live outside Columbus Junction. I love raising birds and am really glad the landlord doesn't care how many I have
