(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? This is my first time raising on my own, I have been on the farm and watched them be raised and participated in the butchering
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?Had 42, taking out the broilers as they are big enough, I would say later today I will have 29 remaining
(3) What breeds do you have?Americauna(EE's), R.I. Reds, Buff Orpingtons,Barred Rocks, Cornish Rock crosses and 1 badly marked red lace cornish.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? A friend(You probably know about the red laced cornish from her)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?Rabbit raising and crochet
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am getting married in October, I have a pom/yorkie mix dog and we have a chow chow also. We raise rabbits (New Zealands, English Spots, French Lops and Satins) and thought we would try our hand at raising chickens...so far so good!
