Hi all!
I’m Katie and I’ve been spending the lockdown with my parents and their chooks in the countryside of Shropshire in the UK.
The chickens are just over 1 year old. They are the mix breed if Rhode Island Reds and Plymouth Rocks, who run havoc through my mums garden by day.
There are 4 chooks in total:
Froggy - head chook, loves chasing flies, frogs, ants, anything really.
Bossy - or mrs cluckington as she’s affectionaly known, the loudest egg songer!
Dusty - loves a dust bath! Always picked on by Margs.
Margarita - named after a family friend. Happily sings while she eats.
It’s fair to say I’ve become totally obsessed with them and thier individual characters. I have learned so much from this community about keeping and caring for chickens and hope to continue doing so!
Thanks for having me!
