I was a member of the "old" list and have been lurking on this one for awhile. Thought it was time to join.

I've had heritage chicken breeds in the past, now I have a barn flock of mostly EE and Red Star.

I show my dogs (and cats), Irish Wolfhounds and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers (Cornish Rex, Munchkin, JungleBob) all over the country and in several other countries. Have a couple of Draft horses and riding horses.

Geez - Irish Wolfhounds and draft horses. Wow - I can't imagine how much either of them eats in a given day. Do you get a frequent buyers discount on food?

Ha, you would think. Actually, the IWs as adults eat about as much as a large German Shepherd. As pups they eat you out of house and home

My drafts eat about 3/4 of a bale of hay a day. That's it. I'm pretty lucky.

Now my cats on the other hand.......I think my JungleBob is a walking stomach.
