Hello everyone -

I'm so glad to have found this site! I lost my two pugs last summer after being part of our family for over 16 years leaving a huge hole in my heart. Learning that I could have backyard chickens (something I have always wanted), I am now patiently waiting for my 5 girls - 2 silkies, 1 buff Orpington, 1 silver laced wyandotte and one polish. I'm so excited! They are scheduled for arrival middle of July. My poor husband has heard nothing but chicken this or chicken that for weeks. I think I'm starting to lose him LOL I didn't know there were so many people that love their chickens as much as I know I will.

Sorry for the loss of your pugs, losing pets (especially ones you've had for so long) is always hard
