I do hope I'm doing this correctly?
I got some mixed hens a few years back by accident, my friend who kept them had to move to another town, others side of the country.
After a few weeks I was hooked (I thought at the time I'd simply eat them.) having said that they were delightful. And the eggs much better than shop bought.
I came on here a few years ago as a visitor. The advice and care from the members very obvious.
I now have a small flock of six hens, one rooster and 3 chicks four weeks old. I have slowly moved to a breed we call 'Boschveld'. Anyway I'm not much of a typer, so that's all for now.
