Thank you for everyone's input and suggestions....very much appreciated. By looking at the size of the coop, and living in southern Michigan, would you recommend using a heat lamp in winter? If so, what kind/wattage? I don't want frozen or roasted chicken from my coop:/
We've gotten quite attached...

I live in Bay City & I'm waiting for day old chicks to arrive. My "gang" will include silkies. If I end up with a spare Roo, I will definately think of you & yours.
