Well, being that I had no idea the chickens would outgrow their little cage faster than we could build a chicken coop....waiting for DH to get it done. The first chicken accident was the horse stepped on it. ....then that night 2 mysteriously dissapeared. I had 2 owls stalking them...then another horse/chicken accident...Dog got a hold of one when he got out. Red Healer. We cried each and everytime I found out about the loss of my sweet chickens. I do cherish the 9 I have left and they are very spoiled. They love for me to clean out the fridge!
