Hi everyone, my name is Mary. I'm new to chickens this year but things seem to be going really well so far. I had 10 New Hampshire hens givin to me this spring, but I didn't think that was enough, so I just got 30 more NH chicks last week. Their in the brooder now. And, since our neighbor's rooster decided to defect to our side, I have aprox. 20 eggs in our incubator that will be hatching on or around the 21. I'm raising for eggs and meat.

That's the way I feel! Someone else we know wants me to take their chickens off of their hands too. I'v got room in the freezer.
