Hi everyone. I'm Caroline from Tasmania I am a wildlife carer and yes I love chickens, well I love all my other animals but specially my chickens.
I live on a farm here in Tassie and have a variety of animals in my menagerie including cows, pigs, calves I hand reared, a possum, a couple of baby kangaroos I am raising, a wombat who is full grown now but still won't leave home lol, a few cats and of course my chickens. I have over 100 of them last count. It is winter here and 3 of my hens surprised me with new baby chickens last week which I found strange as they never set during winter normally and I didn't realise they had been setting the little devils. They had their nests in the bush line behind home.
Ihave been browsing BYC and the amount of information and help from other members on here is incredible..
