@Bec: What a yard you have there ! Lots of ladies and chicks. Let's your 7 & 9 take care of these chicks, I am sure they will have a lot of stories to tell their friends.

Yeah, it's a few acres of untouched bush. We've not ventured into much of it, but it's full of wildlife. Quolls, possums, wallabies, potoroos, bandicoots... The quolls are my only concern, because they *could* take a chicken. They're very shy and nocturnal though.

The kids are loving the chickens, and very keen for the chicks to lose their natural fear of humans!
