We are a family from Poteet, Tx and are looking forward to getting involved and growing in our knowledge of having a farm. We currently have a few boar goats a pigmy goat, pearl guinea hens, chickens and some ducks. Not sure what breed the chickens and ducks are as we purchased them from a local fleamarket and feed stores. But we are interested in hatching our own and looking forward to watching them grow. I grew up having backyard chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese and continued as soon as I could get some land. We live out in a rural Tx community where most farm animals are allowed.
We are currently in the process of aquiring an incubator and will be hatching our own eggs. My children have also acquired my a love for all animals and are excited to get started in the hatching process. Can't wait to finally have hands on in hatching them. Happy clucking.
