Hi,
My husband and I (more myself then him haha) are brand new to the chicken world. I am lucky to know quite a few chicken producers that have helped me get started. We live North East of Lubbock, Texas and just bought 10 mixed 1.5wk old pullets from TSC. I cannot wait to see what they end up being. I am hoping to take pictures tonight or tomorrow and share with y'all soon. I wanted to give them a couple days of no more than necessary stress before taking pictures...


It will be great to get to meet each of you and learn! Thanks for a great website!

Here is the first one. She's a darker yellow/orange almost solid but you can see faint chipmunk striping.

This one is black with light gray/yellow under her chin. There are two of this kind.

This one and one other are light yellow with small grayish black spots on their back. I'm thinking leghorns?
