Hi from the Colorado countryside!

I just started raising chickens again and have been having a great time. Have a small flock of 5 different breeds: Golden campine, buff orpingtons, red stars, welsummers and dominique. I have one Dominique with a bent toe (one on each foot). Not sure if this is a genetic defect or not but wondered if anyone else has seen this?

Welcome from California! Sounds like the bent toe is a genetic defect since it is on both feet. As long as she can walk and scratch, we can simply describe her as "unique". Best of luck with your flock!
