Hi! I am brand new at this whole chicken thing! We have three chickies that are about 3 weeks old. A buff Cochin, barred Cochin, and a Australorp! They are just getting real feathers! We built a coop for them they will move into in next few weeks!

Welcome to BYC! You have some great breeds; all three of them are calm and gentle. I've had Cochins in the past, and currently have Australorps and Orpingtons, and my children, and now my granddaughter, all made pets of them. Australorps are my favorite standard breed; excellent layers.
