Hey everyone! New to the forum, I figured I'd introduce myself. We have 10 straight run chicks that are almost 4 weeks old - 3 EEs, 3 BCMs, and 4 Jubilee Orpingtons. We lost our first chick (an EE) today to an unknown cause, I think possibly just failure to thrive - all the others have been growing and this one couldn't find a spot at the water or food even when there was an opening. I'm hoping the rest of them make it through! Here's a picture of our chicks, a few are named so far but not all.
What will you do with the ones who end up being boys? The odds are good that you'll have a few if they were straight run
