    Hi there,
I've been raising chickens for a few years. I have a dozen laying hens. A variety of heavier breeds (so they can withstand our tough winter weather). Plenty of eggs for me and my husband. I also raise nigerian dwarf goats. Will be getting guinea hens and heritage turkey chicks in June. Looking forward to learning from others who raise poultry. I am nursing instructor, but have always thought I would be a good farmer.
