I used to live in Santee, my son was born in El Cajon, I've lived in Lakeside, I've run up and down all of those hills and towns!! I even spent a fair amount of time in Spring Valley! Yeah, Spring Valley is quite a ways from Valley Springs (Original Poster says its about 30 miles East of Stockton, California)

Re: Spring Valley, My wife used to live in La Mesa. And yes, Wallace is not too far from us. In fact I pass through there twice a day going and coming from work in Lodi.
I am a Michigander by birth, and a rolling stone by choice. But I have since sprouted roots and settled down.
