Welcome. Wish I knew more about Wales. My grandmother was born in Pontipool (Sp?) and came to America as a child. She left from Swansea.
What breeds of chickens are most popular in the UK?

Dekel hi pontypool is not far from Newport ,I was going to move there but got let down at the last minuet (we were 2 weeks from completion and the seller changed there mind ) so we moved to kenfig hill,bridgend , I now live 8 miles from swansea , not sure what uk breeds are most popular but I do know a lot of people get ex batts (I know this from my other chicken site on the web ,it's also very good it's called down the lane ,and quite a few on there have ex batts ,
