We are brand new to raising chickens and have learned so much from all your experience and questions and answers on the forum... Thank you. We inherited a 1900 chicken house and spent last summer restoring it. (moving it to our home, putting a new roof on, taking off old paint and painting etc). So now we have bought our EE chicks from the local feed store. We have 4 that about 4weeks old and 4 that are 3 weeks old, (thinking about getting another couple). The gang at our house includes my wife, 2 growing boys, 2 border collies, 1 springer spaniel and a crabby old cat.
