Hello everyone,


My Husband and I are just starting out with Chickens we have 6 hens a mix of New Hampshire Reds and Golden comets. We have been averaging about 3-5 eggs a day. Our girls looked ruff from the get go not sure if it was do to over crowding from the previous owner or if they are molting. We started with 8 and are now down to 6. They look and act ok but like I said we dont know a lot about chickens. We make sure they have fresh water several times a day. Feed them Layena and scratch and we found out they love June bugs. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm relatively new to the chicken game too. Try posting in the Diseases, etc forum and describe what is going on and, if you can, post pics of your ladies. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here, unfortunately, I am not one...
