Thanks everyone. I came up here from Phoenix, where I spent most of my life. It averages 25-30 degrees cooler here and during the summer it is a welcomed change. We actually get seasons here and wouldn't you know it - snow! I've actually had my truck buried in my driveway from snowfall.

As to eggs, not yet is my best answer. The chicks are only 8 weeks and my understanding is that I wont see an egg until they are about 7 months old.
